DAVID HATHAWAY TRANSPORT LIMITED

The business grew until in 1987 the coal business was sold and the focus was solely on transport. David purchased his first curtain sided vehicle in 1985 as a one off contract to move automotive parts up to the midlands for the likes of Rover, Jaguar and Land Rover. This quickly grew to offering pallet delivery services to local businesses within the Bristol and Bath Area. David Hathaway Transport was the first company in the area to offer a next day pallet service within England and Wales which saw business grow rapidly to over 10 vehicles.

David is still very active within the company and the age of 72 which shows his unrelenting commitment to the business and our stakeholders. He has instilled this passion in his three sons who all work within the Business. Matthew since 1986 straight from school, James since 1990 after his engineering training and and Chris since 1999 when he left University.
