In 1976 David Mackrill started the general haulage company which later became Damac Group. In 1983 the company started to focus on bulk powder transportation, which in those days was a ‘bag in a box’ type process. In 1987 the first silo was built and Damac was one of the first companies to provide import facilities for cement. Since then the company has expanded its operations continuing to focus on bulk powder and cementitious products, from loading to shipping, handling to transport.
