The MAN network in the UK has been celebrating its successes at the company\u2019s annual Dealer of the Year Awards event held at Mansfield Traquair, in Edinburgh.<\/p>\n
Three awards recognising the success of small, medium and large dealers throughout the UK were presented.<\/p>\n
The winners in the small business category were Imperial Commercials Ltd (Norwich) MAN Truck & Bus Felixstowe in the medium category and DSV Commercials Ltd took the award for the large business.<\/p>\n
The runners up were R & A Scott (small), Commercial Motors (Wales) Ltd (medium) and Pelican Engineering (large).<\/p>\n
All will receive a financial award to invest in their businesses.<\/p>\n
In addition, MAN recognised AN Richards Ltd for offering the best customer service and WG Davies Ltd (Swansea) as runner up in the category. The award for marketing campaign of the year went to MAN Truck & Bus Exeter.<\/p>\n
Chris Marshall, director of DSV Commercials, said: \u201cOver the last nine years of the competition we have been runners up twice and winners on five occasions, which is some achievement considering the quality of the competition.<\/p>\n
\u201cIt is real credit to the sustained effort and commitment of the whole team that DSV has received the recognition everyone deserves and our team is a credit to DSV and the MAN Network.\u201d<\/p>\n

Steve Affleck, regional director of Imperial Motors, said: \u201cI was speechless when I discovered we had won the small dealership category, but it certainly rewards the investment we have made over the last few years.<\/p>\n
\u201cWe have grown the staff from about 15 to 25, including 11 technicians, extended our opening times and as well as investing in the right people we have directed \u00a3500,000 to adding an ATF bay and extended parking.\u201d<\/p>\n
