After some uncertainty with a number of changes recently to the major container shipping alliances, the Port of Felixstowe has announced it has been selected as the main UK hub by two of the three major alliances.<\/p>\n

The 2M service continues to call at Felixstowe. In addition to its core members, Maersk Line and Mediterranean Shipping Company (MSC), capacity will also be offered on 2M sailings by Hamburg Sud and Hyundai Merchant Marine.<\/p>\n

They are also pleased to welcome the new Ocean Alliance to Felixstowe. Ocean Alliance members CMA CGM, Cosco Shipping, Evergreen and OOCL offer 4 joint weekly services to and from Asia.<\/p>\n

In addition to the services offered by the Alliances and their member lines, there are a large number of other options available through the UK\u2019s leading container port including by APL, BG Freight, Deco Lines, Iscont Line, K-Line, Safmarine, Seago Line, Shipping Corporation of India, Turkon Line, Unifeeder, WEC Lines and Zim.<\/p>\n

Regular services connect the Port of Felixstowe with over 700 ports worldwide so, wherever you are shipping to or from, there will be a service for you.<\/p>\n

With 33 daily rail freight services from Freightliner, GB Railfreight and DB Cargo to 16 inland destinations, regular feeder services and over 30 leading haulage and logistics companies based in Felixstowe there is a huge array of transport options to choose from.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
