D.R & F.A Ford Transport Ltd are recognised as one of the top haulers in Shropshire.

We run trucks from our Wem & Chirk sites ensuring customers in the North, East & South of England and North & South Wales are catered for.

We have at our disposal 55 trucks & 100 trailers including: Chipliner Curtainsiders, Low Loaders and Moving Floor trailers.

We are a privately owned, family- run business based in Wem, Shropshire. Established in October 1990 with just one vehicle by David & Fiona Ford. Our first operating centre was at the family farm in Prees.

The Prees operating centre still operates today, however, our main office is now on the Wem Industrial Estate. We moved to Wem in 1995 and setup our maintenance facility.

During the 1990’s the business developed organically through good customer service and a reliable workforce. Twenty five years later the business is still going strong based on these original values.

Customer retention is key to our business success. We are still delivering on behalf of our very first customer!

Our office is manned by extremely experienced staff who started as delivery drivers and who have progressed through the company ranks. This wealth of knowledge helps us offer solutions for all transport needs and are always available should you require any help and advice.
